We are looking forward to training little Duke to be our bereavement therapy dog! Benefits of having a bereavement therapy dog on staff are as follows:

-General comfort;
-Improving overall mental and physical health;
-Increased serotonin and dopamine levels in our brain;
-Lowered stress, anxiety, and depression;
-Lowered blood pressure;

…this helps those who are feeling lonely and/or bereaved.
